American Goldfinch

American Goldfinches are very small yellow/gold birds with a very musical song. In the warm months, the males are a very bright yellow with a distinctive black cap on their head. In the cold months, they replace the bright yellow feather with a dull golden color, making it difficult to tell the difference between males and females. They can be seen here year-round.
